Shi* , they just changed to 10 gb. Looks like too late. I applied extra Sims yesterday when still 20gb, but due to collect only on 9 Mar.

Soyacincau website was also confused by the validity, but when they asked the officials for clarification (end of Jan'18) , this was their answer:-

We reached out to someone at TM for clarification on what it takes to keep your line active. He told us that all you’ll need is to do one of the following to reset the entire 90 days cycle:

1. Make 1 outgoing phone call, or
2. Send 1 outgoing SMS, or
3. Browse for 1MB, or
4. Reload any amount between RM10, 30, 50, 100, or
5. Purchase any of our data or voice and SMS passes

So technically, if you have 20GB of LTE data, your line can be active for 20 months without needing a top-up if you only use 1GB/month. Alternatively, your line could last 40 months if you use 500MB/month.

I am guessing the 3 cards limit only for the free sims. Could be if you want to Port in 4th line, you have to pay, also you won't get the free 10gb data.

Ask their live chat, see if it's possible.

I can confirm that Unifi mobile validity 90days only apply to you actually buying some kind of data or voice addon.

Even if you make calls or use data using your paid addons , it will NOT extend your validity.

I bought voice add-on on 5 Feb and I have been using it to make calls on and off up till today.

But recently I got sms from Unifi reminding me to buy further add-on before 6 may 2018 or else my active period will end.

That means the 90days start from the day you buy the data/voice , NOT when you use the data, make a call or send an sms.

All this marketing from unifi is BS, it's a big lie and a trap.

I didn't reload, but the same logic should apply.

It's not about the reload or add-on. Their marketing said you just have to make calls or use data and the 90 days will follow that date, but clearly it's not the case.

You don't get the point. Whether reload or add-on on same date, if you use the data or make phone call in future , the 90 days should extend from the last data usage date, not follow the reload or add-on date.

At least that's what we are led to believe.

Also for info, you can buy add-on direct with debit/credit card, without reload.

The word 'usage' is also clearly stated, but now we discover is irrelevant because whether there is usage or not, it will still be the same expiry date.

So kindly remove the word 'usage', so as not to mislead more people 🙏

Could also be they use the term 'usage' with double meaning to mislead.

It might mean PPU usage for call or sms and not usage from addons already purchased.

Then again I might have reload and bought addon together, can't remember too well.

No different from other Telcos, so all this bragging in their promos are to mislead 🤔

With the new revelation, I don't intend to continue with Unifi, once the 20 gb finish. As for the other extra sims, I better quickly finish them before 90days.

Luckily I have a 4g sim router , time to use it to stream Netflix for all the sims one after the other before expiry 😊

You don't want the used sims anymore must return to TM , or else jail 20 years to match the free 20 gb.

New users only jail 10 yrs 😁

Reload and add-on sure can extend validity, it's just the 'usage' part to keep the line active , that's the main point of controversy.

Also don't forget if you can't finish all Sim's 20gb , you have to keep on top up a number of times just to revive the validity. In the end it won't just cost you 10/- for each sim.

Bluff. My activated line started on 26 Jan 2018. I quickly finished my initial free 10min voice. On 5 Feb I reload and buy calls add-on. After that I make calls up to 28 Feb 2018. I also using the free 20gb data up till now everyday.

But now I received SMS from Unifi asking me to buy data or calls and sms addons before 6 May 2018 to keep my line active . That means calls or using data won't extend your validity.

Only spending money to reload or buy addons will get you new 90 days validity in my case.

Only crazy people will waste time and return to them 😄

I will try if I can remember. But by that time a lot of other early users before me would have already found out themselves and you will hear from them in this thread before me.

I am hoping that the SMS from Unifi is just some sort system error, but won't know until after 5 May.

If you want to just use for calls, just get something like 'OneXoX' and buy season pass , will cost you only 9 sen per min for calls, validity last you 2 years 4 mths.

Don't waste time on Unifi mobile. Only good thing with Unifi is the free 20gb 4g data ( now new sim only 10gb free).

Unifi validity only 90days between reloads or buying addons as we are finding out now.
