I actually run an AiMesh setup with a bunch of RT-AC68U for quite some time now. I am on Time Fibre 100Mbps.

AiMesh is better than the current mesh solutions in the market as it runs on fully fledged Asus routers. All features like USB file sharing, 4G Internet, Unifi, HyppTV and AdaptiveQoS are preserved. Yes, Unifi will work!

Besides, the performance of AiMesh is much better due to it runs on high end Asus router hardware. It is easily 2x the performance of those Mesh system kits.
