Is this okay?... When i stress... The +12 can sometimes drop till 11.88 .. The +5 from 5.10 drop to 5.05... CPU vcore fluctuate between 1.35 and 1.34 if i set the vcore to 1.34 it will drop to 1.32 when stressed... Only when stressed... Is it caused by the PSU or the Mobo?... Using Intel Bad Axe 2 mobo and 420W nobrand PSU... The specs r at my siggy...

I would choose non modular psu.. Joints aren't that good for electricals..

I will definitely go for modular PSU's for better cable management biggrin.gif Don't forget the PSU cable to wall plug is also somewhat "modular" so if connection is not good, they wouldn't have made it detachable at the first place.
*
hmm i guess ur right... As far as I'm concerned, the cons of modular are pretty much what people already mentioned: slightly inferior in power due eletrical resistance (but usually nothing to keep you from buying one), potential problems with the cables (if the user keeps connecting and disconnecting them too much or connect them wrong), and also being a bit pricier.
If money is no concern, the power won't be either since you just need to buy one powerful enough for your system. As for the cables, just be sure you connected everything correctly and avoid disconnecting the psu end.

The rest is mostly pure joy. Potentially better airflow, no unnecessary cables hanging in the case, ability of getting extra cables of a certain type (as long you have free slots on your PSU), and so on. But just like the cons, the advantages are not exactly earthshaking either, but handy to have

The problem is, not everyone uses all the power cables and not everyone can afford big casings smile.gif Even if the casing is big, you still need to find a place to hide the huge chunk of un-used cables which I don't think is easy.

hide it behind the mobo plate like i do.. icon_idea.gif

I thought of that too but if u look at psu like st75f, the amount of cables are massive. I don't think even my cosmos can hide all of them.

lol.. Need to mod the casing for good management..
