Did I missed it? I could not find any posting on BBQ Dried Meat Slice/Minced/Rou Gan/Bakkwa/Bak Gua! Every year around this time (Pre CNY) I would wonder where would be the best place to get? Hopefully to get new discovery and avoid the default brand names. My auto go to shop is Bee Cheng Hiang Jalan Sultan. Do share price and location if you have good reference like great taste, good value, old fashion (good old thick slices), new innovation (bitcoin bite size), nice packaging , delivery services ....

Try Lim Meng Kee @ Imbi, same row as Wing Heng Seng coffee shop, which also happens to sell the famous pork noodle and the mini egg tarts. Theres also another branch in Kepong, right beside the famous dessert stall.

Theres also another branch in Kepong, right beside the famous dessert stall. Thanks for the recommendation. I went to the kepong stall last night and bought 250gm. Would say it is pretty good and interesting. Not so sweet yet very strong porky flavor! I will go by the imbi branch and double confirm the taste! Might end by getting this brand as CNY is closing in. I did see alot of other stalls by the road in kepong, the common brands and some independent.. I am curious if the independents are good.

No prob, I tried different ones last time..not all , always come back to Lim Meng Kee, some might not like the taste but for me its OK. The last time i went, the Imbi branch imposed a minimum order of 500gm, maybe tourist season although Im not sure. The Imbi branch also has more varieties.

This Jalan Imbi Weng Heong was my go to place before I started wondering if there are alternatives. Til now I have not hear any which is the King of them all.
