Hi Guys/Gals, anyone using/buying China branded TV (Hisense, Skyworth, etc)? Can give some feedback? Quality on par with JPop/KPop brand?

Plan to buy Skyworth 43" from 11st but dunno quality since quite hard to find this brand on showroom. Hisense always sold out from Lazada (fullfilled by Lazada).

hisense ok la, the rest i nvr heard of.

my rules in buying a tv, check all ports i needed is there and also check for their USB compability.

but i'll strongly suggest u to save few more hundred and buy from a reputable brands. at least it was easier to do a warrant claim

and if you're tight on budget, keep on browsing at garage sales or mudah, look for "lucky draw" tv. technically its a brand new tv with few hundreds discount on the price tag

I will only consider Chinese TV that is popular in the US. Hisense is okay too.

But personally I still prefer Korean TVs. LG especially.

all electronic items are made in china anyway right?
i bet this your main argument. while this is true, stick to brands u saw on local showroom
i mean, flat screen tvs can die on you. check mudah and u will see tons of crapped out tv's. while buying Japanese and koreans and well known chinese doesn't necessarily meant that it will last without a problem, it just meant u get a better chance trying to fix it if it dies on you

thx bro. that is my main arguement indeed. looking at toshiba led tv, whose tv unit own by China skyworth, hence my selection. maybe I should go for sharp or philips, which cheaper than samseng led tv.

yea alternative haier, hisense and sharp. can get 40" under rm1K, since samsung around 1.2K for 40" on Lazada. Now just wait for CNY deals on Lazada or Senheng

hisense is mainstream brand.

anyway, the panels in japanese and korean brands are made in the same factory, china.
only the high end are made in mostly korea and some japan.
my low end samsung tv, the panel is made by beijing optoelectronics.

Lg boards are junk. They only make good panel.
So buy panasonic instead. Lg panel but not lg board.

Sony > all
