So, anyone from Kuching here that knows a good place to find these?
(I posted before, but since this topic went to a new page already, it probably will get ignored.) Or a good hint at what kind of shops will possible have a chance, sell them? PS: That TT PG Wing looks rather nice. >.> This post has been edited by rndm: Apr 9 2009, 06:07 PM |

QUOTE(LagunaLoire @ Apr 10 2009, 10:53 AM) I heard there's some in The Spring...and most shopping centers in kch. How much was it? Know any other places?Got my TThongli HG 1/144 Destiny yesterday. I know Sarawak Plaza also got, but I want some other shops, to see if there are any reasonable prices for these bootleg Gundams or more variety. >> So, anyone else got other places? So, TT HG Destiny was RM25? Sounds pretty okay for me, but if it was >RM30, might have to consider...
The 'resonable' thing I stated is because I saw some Yuan prices of the TT HG Gundams can be quite... low, like 14-16 Yuan(for the normal ones). >_> But I might be wrong, since I can't read a speck of Chinese characters. |

Damn, that's the same story a friend of mine told me(with him owning it)!
Oh wellz, anyone knows any good place to buy 00 series ones? I'm kinda specifically looking for them. The most I could find are from the SEED Destiny series... which I might try to get Destiny soon. >> Already built your HG Destiny? How's it? EDIT: I went to The Spring, but I regrettably didn't see any TT Gundams to the shops I went. Can tell me specifically what place in The Spring? Thanks. Just now I went to a toy shop in 4th Mile area there(FYI, Kuching).
They got sell some TT Gundams and some LW Dragon(all FG SEED and some others, I think, about RM7.90-RM9.90). The TT one got the silver Akatsuki for RM99(2 boxes left), Strike Freedom Extra Finish for RM120(2 boxes left), some FG 00 Gundams(RM14.90 each) and so on. They also got some HGs, TT also, but only Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice and Destiny(which I bought for RM26). Is the silver Akatsuki and Strike Freedom Final Finish worth it and are they any good? Man, the TT Destiny a bit hard to build, especially when the stickers don't stick anymore... This post has been edited by rndm: Apr 13 2009, 10:13 PM |

Ah yes, it is 'Extra' Finish. My bad. To be very specific, it is this one here; http://item.taobao.com/auction/item_detail....jhtml?cm_cat=0 The silver Akatsuki and Strike Freedom Extra Finish are both 1/100 scale. ^^ |

Hey guys, does anyone know a good place to buy MG or any 1/100 bootlegs in Kuching? The shop in the Everise 4th Mile only got the TT HGs and barely any 1/100 scales(as far as I can see). I'm specifically looking for some 00 series ones and maybe some other MGs as well.

Well, all the price tags are at RM29.90(not that great of a price IMO) for the HGs, but you can ask a bit lower to at most RM26. I already snap fitted the Throne Eins, which was not so bad, but a bit of scratching-cutting needed to make some parts go in. ^^;

Just to ask another question. What are the range of prices you all see when you shop for the bootlegs?
Such as the HG is normally around RM26++ around here(TT). For the NG 1/100, I've seen Destiny for as low as RM49.90(Bendi I think) and can go as high as RM69.90 for Kyrios(TT). I find these prices ill-satisfactory, way too high for bootlegs of that grade. >_> |

While I was in Miri, I was able to find some more TT HG Gundams at a shop in eMart. From what I can tell, the smaller HGs(whereby the original costs about 1200 Yen and below) costs about RM19. Pretty reasonable. Though, the bigger HGs still reach about RM29 there.
They also have NG 1/100 Model GD Exia, Dynames and Force Impulse + Sword Silhouette for RM55.90, RM59.90 and RM89.90 respectively. Not so worth it to me, IMO. Plus, there was an old MG Model GD Mk II(Titans) for about RM90. Still not worth it IMO. I'm still wondering if it is possible to find NG 1/100 for about RM40. =/ This post has been edited by rndm: Jun 2 2009, 10:11 PM |

The Shin Musha Gundam looks quite nice one. ^^
How much was it? Since you said they were overpriced? Also, here's a little review on the TT Hongli HG Union Flag I recently got. http://rndmstuff.blogspot.com/2009/06/tt-h...lag-review.html This post has been edited by rndm: Jun 12 2009, 01:15 PM |

Well it IS supposed to be like less than RM50 if you use direct conversion from Yuan to Ringgit. However, I have NEVER seen such prices. I wonder why is that so(tax or postage maybe?). The best price ratio you can get is half of the original to 1/3 of the original at most from my observations. =/
Well, if you can find a shop as reasonable as that in M'sia, please do tell us. XD |

QUOTE(Kelrys @ Jun 23 2009, 11:36 PM) I don't really remember the name but I think it is "Siong Lee" according to the price tag. XPIt shouldn't be very hard to find though, the shop seems to have the most China toys hanging and on the shelves. To find the pirated Gundam in that shop, you'll have to go in. The Gundams are at the rear side of one of the shelves, very close to the cashier. ^^ This post has been edited by rndm: Jun 24 2009, 07:58 PM |

RM30 still a bit expensive though. ^^
I wish I'm near Jalan Raja Laut as it seems the prices are very reasonable. I sure don't mind buying 6 at one go if the prices are as that guy said. Anyways, I just typed out my review on the TT Exia tonight though not as extensive as the review done on the TT Tieren Ground Type by lifesignx. ^^; ![]() http://rndmstuff.blogspot.com/2009/06/tt-h...-1144-exia.html So, is there any other place like the one at Jalan Raja Laut which I hope is near to Kuching? =P This post has been edited by rndm: Jun 25 2009, 11:51 PM |

^I don't think the shop I went to is a wholesaler though but maybe I can try. Might be able to get them cheaper, hopefully, when I go to the shop next time. ^^

^Erm, the original PG Strike can be bought for RM5XX at certain places like Graffiti Toys. RM250 is a bit high for me IMO for a bootleg.
PS: Hey, liewpk, Jalan Raja Laut area got sell any PGs also? If got, what's the price range? >.> This post has been edited by rndm: Aug 4 2009, 03:56 PM |
