Spent my whole Sat and Sunday at home chopping and cutting and sandwiching layers of plastic together.
It's now finished with out paint an panel lining.

Just sharing my 5 cents worth of opinion on this "pirated" Gundam.
- Packaging is decent and reasonably good. nothing that could damage the parts inside. It's probably due to the rough handling because it's a china product that they didn't take more care to it. - No there were no broken or damaged parts inside when I got it. Only some parts have partially fallen off the tree but not damaged. - Yes, metal parts, chrome parts, LEDs and light component units are included. - Yes, there are parts that are slightly molded out of shape but mostly are the poly caps. There are 3 types of plastic being used. the soft poly caps that are usually molded out of shape but not too badly that is cause any major defects to the model. the medium plastic mostly used for the white armor parts gets slightly extra molded pieces that you need to cut off and the hard plastic for the inner frame where it has the lest defects of the previous 2. - No it's not that hard to build especially for those with amateur experience in building model kits. - Yes there are some parts where you will require extra work to get it to fit. - Join movements can be a little too tight because the poly caps are not molded perfect. just need to be careful while moving it. Final Verdict. For having to pay RM250 for this figure compared to RM700 or more for an actual Bandai kit. I MUST say that it was very WELL WORTH it. it's not perfect and not extremely bad. it holds together very well and will make outstanding figure for display. (By saying this I'm not discouraging ppl from buying Original Bandai Kits. PLEASE buy ori as we need ppl to pay for Bandai's RND to make new kits To read my full review click HERE. If there is anyone out there that has a confirm place where I can get my hands on the TT HongLi PG Wing Custom. PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW. Well, for RM5XX can probably built the strike twice for GHD and can probably use one for custom battle damage. one display at home and one in office. XD

QUOTE Head to Pacific Megamall in Penang... Not Penang Island, it's actually in Prai... There's a shop on the 3rd floor that still have it... Get it before somebody else snatch it... But.... It's kinda overpriced laaa... RM350 kot... I know where is pacific coz my home town is in BM. Too bad I'm in KL now. I think 350 still ok since the ori is about double the price. I'm not sure how low these bootlegs can go but considering the price of the MGs are not even 50% of the ori price. I've no regrets getting the GHD Strike and I hope that TT Hong Li will do a better job on the molding defects. |
