QUOTE(Dguy @ Jun 1 2009, 03:58 PM) xelnaga1987, why are u talking about ori gundam? Yes, we know the quality is superior to the TTs, LWDragon... but the main thing about this topic is the thrill in finding fake gundams which are 1/2 the price of the bandai ones but still have near good quality... Economic times are not good so fake gundams are becoming attractive... myself? I try to buy real ones when got good bargain (like at Litt Tak warehouse sale... manage to buy 2 limited gunpla expo gundams for RM80 only...) anyway, that's just my view. I hunt fake gundams because its cool! thanks! but i m still coufused after reading through this forum Can u specify where exactly can i find most TT products in KL? Srry been running around finging for it but only bumb into bendi brand only cause its the 1st time i but gupla thats not Bandai aka still virgin

One of the main reasons for this topic is to share where we can find fake gundams.... In previous few posts, i think ppl have mentioned that in Penang, there are shops that sell TT Hongli gundams...
In KL, Berjaya Times Square got TTs and GD/GHD (I haven't tried but suppose to be bad quality)...
I think you should try toy shops that sell cheap/pirated toys (got one in Tesco Ampang.. a toy stall)... some have mentioned bookshops in small towns...
Hope that helps?

While I was in Miri, I was able to find some more TT HG Gundams at a shop in eMart. From what I can tell, the smaller HGs(whereby the original costs about 1200 Yen and below) costs about RM19. Pretty reasonable. Though, the bigger HGs still reach about RM29 there.
They also have NG 1/100 Model GD Exia, Dynames and Force Impulse + Sword Silhouette for RM55.90, RM59.90 and RM89.90 respectively. Not so worth it to me, IMO. Plus, there was an old MG Model GD Mk II(Titans) for about RM90. Still not worth it IMO.
I'm still wondering if it is possible to find NG 1/100 for about RM40. =/

I have TT/Hongli HG Exia, Dynames, Kyrios, Virtue and Nadleeh. Just recently bought them at RM19 each, in a veeery remote town here in Sarawak.. They're quite good, got all the rubber/transparent parts somemore. Really happy with them. Thinking about buying the Thrones next..

The Shin Musha Gundam looks quite nice one. ^^ How much was it? Since you said they were overpriced? Also, here's a little review on the TT Hongli HG Union Flag I recently got. http://rndmstuff.blogspot.com/2009/06/tt-h...lag-review.htmlThis post has been edited by rndm: Jun 12 2009, 01:15 PM

Hello I am a newbie in this forum, just read the information in forum, I sincerely appreaiate to everyone hardwork and info to get a cheap but accepted quality model, here I would like to share some info with you all. I live in Ipoh but now working in Sabah area but I have been looking for the model quite some times, I able to get some info that
Price - Most TT, LWDragon and GHD 1/144 either Seed series or 00 series price around rm23-26 see wheather got discount or not....
- And for 1/100 is price vary for different product. In my experience I got a few pirated version range from different size and product. My GHD 1/100 HG Destiny and HG Destiny + stand version both at RM68 and RM70. While my 1/100 HG Strike Freedom is brand "original" (in chinese, if you understand what I mean..) cause me RM45 (here all bought in Ipoh area)
- And 00 series for TT brand both 1/144 and 1/100 sold in Ipoh as well but it is since Feb 09 because I didn't back yet... in Sabah I saw as well 1/100 HG TT brand is about RM60-70 for 00 series
- Sabah I saw TT brand MG 1/100 Destiny, strike freedom extra finish, HG 1/100 Akasuki gold and silver all at RM100 similiar to Ipoh and MG Strike Noir, Strike + IWSP at around RM83, MG for strike freedom and Destiny full burst is RM120
- I bought a TT brand MG strike freedom extra finish (1st time)
Quality - Didn't play some many original before except just once, so far TT is most satisfaction, my newsest MG strike freedom is good example, although internal is not all gold shinning like bandai but it stick firmly with other part and still the hand, joint TT still provide extra part for shinning gold part! And its move is hard like ori
- brand "Original" (chinese translate) offer fair quality since part also stick firmly but some colour part is just some painting onto it... so worse.....
- brand LWD is fair, some part may not firm well but still soso quality
- brand GHD... welll you all might experience it before, the plastic quality is not as good as other pirated brand and not so detail and easily broken... but still can fix it worth for a cheap price as well
This is the experince I had, hope to see you all share up the info... cheers!

I have bought a TT NG 1/100 Force Impulse last few month. The joint is tight, everything is good. Only the plastic is too glossy looking compare to an original bandai one. So looks kinda fake. But can overcome by adding a layer of matte topcoat.

Putting efforts to make them looked original... That is satisfactory on its own...
