aih... so far, having bad progress with TT's SF.

the head unit was kinda badly proportionate.

the chest unit is giving me a headache. some joints are too loose, gotta tighten it a bit. the armor part can't be attached, some problem with the male/female connectors.

bro hmm.gif ..i've assembled one myself personally...and it worked just fine..maybe juz a bit non-fitting case of the male peg and female peg(less than 8%) but all that i solved it thru cutting the male peg (slunting direction) and make the female peg's hole slightly larger..and after that it fits in together nicely.. icon_rolleyes.gif
Cheers!!

i get alot of this problem also but why i keep buying bootleg gundam cause the challenge or the fun of making it to near original gundam. If you read through all the post, you'll get alot of advised on dealing with any of this type of problem. My main problem for me is not making the gundams but getting it cheap here in Sabah....... Hahahahahahahahahahaha

hmm.gif ..why u said that? laugh.gif ..i cut the male peg like that bcoz normally when un-fit pegs happens the male peg have some access plastic at the tip...so,when i cut it by half n slunting (to remove the "fat" tip) and after putting in the parts, and still does not fit-in nicely, i can take it off back EASILY...for the female hole..i made it bigger so that it won't be a VIRGIN anymore laaa.... laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif ...jz kidding.. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

1. Our old friend is back in business! code 00 HG28 <==familiar with this code?  smile.gif  There are a few models suppost in market after CNY like Nz666, oo raiser MG and a few 1/144 oo model like susanowa, o gundam. Hopefully our old friend didnt forgot about that smile.gif

2. Sd unicorn today reach Penang, just finish assembled, only one part got problem (the upper shoulder part). The finishing not as good as TT but better than GHD.  The rest like sticker(better than TT), joining part almost same like TT. (I will show the photo tomorrow = Bandai and Pandai together under sunlight, Nothing can hide under sunlight.

rclxms.gif lol

Ok, in order not to OT. I've tried to cut/shave the male part into 1/2, or slanting. It's very very difficult. Any special technique to this? Can just use nipper ah? Sometimes I'd too afraid to try. Afraid that I might screw up my kit.

I still like my definition better:

"Assembling bootlegs make you feel like booting yourself with your leg, yet you can't."

For GHD..brand i think only the head is slightly out of proportions...everything else is more or less the same lorr...and definitely cheaper than TT Hongli PGs..i think somewhere around RM130-140.00... icon_rolleyes.gif

Added on June 9, 2010, 4:18 am"Coz My PG Wing Zero TT Hongli not perfect oso what.Still need to modi and adjust something.Hehehehe~~~~"..~~bro what did u mod n adjust?..from my experience assembling the TT Hongli PG WingZERO (Normal and Pearl) the unfit/ un-NGAM part is only the inner frame of the knee part (the inner frame that will hold the outer armor at the side and back of the knee)..for that part i have to cut the whole thing of the male-peg--the size is too big to fit in the female-peg and i contruct/mod a totally brand new male-peg (small metal rod + super glue + solder)...and after that everything fits nicely..haha...as for the wiring part i just replace the wires so that it have better flexibility (using a more flexible wires rather than the "KERAS" wires that is provided in the box) and thats it...haha icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif
