ok so i got back from class, lazy to dota, got loads of time on my hands (even though exams in 2 weeks).

Translated most of the stuff for xunlei. just create a folder named zh_en

C:\Program Files\Thunder Network\Thunder\Languages\zh_en

just place the thunder.ini inside there. 1 file is all you need. If you need any translations, I'll try and update the file, or the other files.
PS: its actually a rar file. renamed it cause this board cant attach rar files. so use winrar

PSS: since some got problems with the archive, just rename the .txt to .ini

It's working! ! !

Thanks for the effort!!!

Alright, I got my file association messed up and I couldn't open .torrent file direct from web browsers (both IE and FF2). Any help for that?

I did change the File Association settings, but for file .torrent, in Open With, I choose Thunder.exe but it will only open the program without "activating" it for download.

I think under Tools-> Default Browser-> 1st option (in chinese words)

or go inside Options, 5th tab on the left, first option on the right. Monitor IE.

for me i prefer to manually download the torrent, open xunlei and add torrent.

Although xunlei has been giving me good DL speed, I'm still not comfortable with it.

1) it consumes A LOT of RAM. Averagely, it consumes over 100kB! Even my FF2 seldom reach this level (unless I do streaming radio)

Below is the screenshot of my Task Manager. It clearly shows xunlei consumes more than FF2. I was downloading 2 files, but apparently, after one was finished, the RAM consumed by xunlei dropped to 70-80kB.

2) Maybe due to my noobiness, I have problem configuring xunlei and my Windows XP to accept .torrent files directly. Whenever I open a link to .torrent file, I will be asked to save it instead of being opened directly for download by xunlei. So, I would end up downloading all the .torrent files and then only I double-click the files to open xunlei for the proper torrent files download.

3) It's interface is bad. I am using the translated version from HeHeHunter (credit to this guy for his effort to translate). Not that I want to complain but overall the interface is messy (and it's not due to the language).

Oh, I got to go now. Conclusion, I am getting good DL from xunlei but unfortunately, it consumes way much RAM than expected and its integration with the OS (Win XP) and the browser (FF2) is something that could be improved.

I've been using xunlei for 1/2 year and not that I want to quit it, it's just that the above 2 issues (at least) could be solved/improved in near future.

Meanwhile, I will give Torrentflux a look after getting some recommendation from a member here.
