if you're buying those cheap budget, RM2000-2500, you don't have to wait. if you're spending RM4k and above, its better to wait for more models.

dell's santa rosa starts with RM3800, kinda cheap.

not worht it, price difference is Rm1000 just for c2d.
dell santa rosa starts with Rm3800 and its 2xbetter than that.

i think s41 is worth it.

took a look at today's lenovo pamphlet in today's the star.
it seems lenovo is giving out free seagate external 120GB hdd

of course i'm talking about y400 945448A which is priced RM2299
Intel Core Duo t2080,512 MB DDR2 RAM,80 GB HDD,DVDRW Drive
after calculation, the price is better than compaq v3133, which is an equivalent spec, minus the dvdburner and an internal 2.5" hdd with box (should cost~RM300)

though you can find an acer with c2d for RM2399.
but i sure did heard bad things about acer, but not so much on lenovo, but that may be due to the popularity.
so worth it?

and if anyone know, does it valid with LENOVO Y400(945445A), which is RM2388, but with 120GB HDD and core duo T2350, which is a better deal.

seagate didn't mention if its sata or pata..., should be sata....

what's the chances of a compaq v3250 b0rking compared to asus a8he?

if i remember right, r61 only got intel x3100 IGP, t61 varies with x3100 and nvidia quadro, which is a workstation card, not built for gaming.
with x3100 you should be able to play quake3 engine games with accceptable framerates at native res. probably.
newer games at low settings. depends.

i personally would get a r61, coz its cheaper
