I need to buy a laptop with the budget 3k

The machine is use for the following purposes:

1) Gaming
2) Internet Surfing
3) Video Chat
4) Playing music & DVD
5) Others

Currently I'm comparing these 2 machines

1) Ben Q S31W
2) Twin Head H12F(W)

Also, would like to check the difference of AMD Turion X 2 and Intel Core Duo or C2D. Is AMD suitable for laptop? Gaming?
