Hi,
I'm new here..

Looking for some opinions hmm.gif
- purpose: demanding programming, graphics (photoshop, etc) and occasional game (GMA shld do, GF8400 better)

- weight < 2.5kg
- screen 14" and below, default with the weight I suppose?
- 1Gb RAM, 2GB preferred
- 3 yrs warranty
- santa rosa preferred
- budget 5K preferred, can be higher biggrin.gif

I searched, possible options are below, what do u think?
Any1 can give me the current prices or other suggestion?? icon_question.gif
- Dell XPS M1210
- Compaq V3505-09TU
- BenQ S41
- HP dv2523TX, dv2505TX
- Asus A8Sc

Maybe:
- Vaio SZ (too expensive)

- Thinkpad R61, dont like the look & need to up RAM+HD, will be expensive?
- Dell XPS M1330 looks awesome!!! Perfect! thumbup.gif just dunno the price and when, cant wait too long hmm.gif

15" wide & 17" are suitable for desktop replacement, having hard time with Acer 8204 on my lap or moving it around.. just too much hassle. sweat.gif

Acer is *bad* vmad.gif , my 8204 is decoloring, keyboard button start to 'uneven' just slightly over a year, considering the price I paid, just not worth it. Luckily its performance is good.
