tis is bcoz T2250 is CoreDuo and its FSB is only 533mhz ....Its RAM is support up 2 533mhz also while T5500 is Core2Duo running on 667 mhz FSB.....Its RAM is support up 2 667mhz ....

T5500 is 64bit system , while T2250 is only can support 533mhz only 

although T2250 is 1.73ghz , it is only CoreDuo and 32bit system ....

I suggest HP. Lenovo is for the basic home user... so their specs aren't really that good.
