Hi there, my friend is interested of getting a new laptop with price around 3k.
Here are some of the requirements:
Processor: Intel Core Duo (around 1.7-1.8++)
HD: 80 (or 120gb)
RAM: Ddr2 512
OS: Vista
Must have: Webcam (1.3mp), Dvd burner
Weight: Not too heavy (for a girl)

Any nice recommendation? Hopefully can get a stable one which doesn't have problems always. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. smile.gif

Where can i find the specs for the com?
Or maybe is there any link or thread or site which i can have a look on all the specs of the laps? I'd like to check Lenovo N100 (0689GNA and also 0689GTA), and Lenovo Y400 (945433A) too. Thanks in advance.

How come T5500 is only 1.66ghz and T2250 is 1.73ghz and u consider it as an upgrade? Just curious, in fact i'm ignorant in this.

I suggest HP. Lenovo is for the basic home user... so their specs aren't really that good.

But then. which model has warranty in US?
