Notebook for my girlfriend. She needs one to study oversea.
1. Brand - Toshiba, HP Compaq, Dell and Fujitsu 2. Budget - Not more than 3.5K 3. Usage - She isn't a gamer. She only needs larger HDD for downloads. At least 1GB Ram. Normal surfing. 4. I need some recommendations.
I'm mostly interested in ASUS notebook computer, but if you have recommendation for another brand, I'd be open to it as well. I'm not really a gamer, but I play a bit of Maple Story/Audtion, which I guess aren't really high definition games. I do download a lot of movies/anime/music, so need something with a lot of HDD space. Most normal use and normal internet surfing, but I do like it to be portable. i just lost my laptop recently, so looking for a decently priced replacement ... budget's around 2.5 - 3k ... i basically just use my laptop for assignments, surfing, music and some light gaming (think dota & warcraft, nothing too graphic intensive) ... i had my eye on the lenovo y410? <- not sure of the exact model name ... around 2500, core 2 duo 1.5 that one ... but don't really like the design la ... & is 1.5 too slow ? my friends say it is... but they're filthy rich & have nothing better to do with their money, so i don't really trust them =P any other suggestions ? much appreciated =) p/s i don't like dell ... i dunno why, i just don't like ... so if possible suggest other brands ? thanks guys ! |

Lenovo Y410(59011815) it is the cheapest c2d currently after acer and dell it is adviseable to upgrade the ram to at least 2 gb ram. so far c2d 1.5 is enough for your requirement above la |
