how bout ur budget for a starters? would u prefer a 14' or a 15' ? with 4k of a budget you could have a really nice spec lappy which is santa rosa based with DUo 2 Core, dedicated graphics, 1 gig ram ...

yes it is faster but not alot .. we dun notice much too ..except use bencmarking to compare ..then can see the figures hehe ..

each brand/maker has their own 'suck' lappies and 'good' lappies .. if it is as 'suck' as mentioned. Can you please share with us the reason so that future buyers would take note to it. With 5.5k budget i guess Dell is a good buy and essientially with 3 years warranty. What size would you prefer ?13,14 or 15 or maybe 17 ??

there is a limited time for the extended warranty ..after that grace period then u cannot extend already ..so better ask dell first ..

dun worry ..you can extend the warranty in future within the 2years cover.

ok ar ur spec ..y not take the dedicated gpu ? as vista and also future games uses musch gpu.. cpu can upgrade when got money ..so if tight can go for T5000 first ..gpu kinda hard upgrade .

lol..ya it is enuf to run aero ..but would lag abit when open too much app ..do u use photoshop or autocad or grafic based software ? if also no then x3100 is okie le hehe ..u knoe la maybe in future u discover a game tat u fell in love and wan to play le but no gpu dedicated to support then regret .. this case happen to my fren, at last he sell his notebook and get another notebook wit dedicaated gpu hhehe ..just my opinion :> cheers

At least tell us your preference and what is the purpose of the notebook you are going to buy. Rm10k is not a small amount and you don't want to get a Celeron for rm10k rite ?


Dell Vostro is more better built and tough for business use. Thats why the outlook is more plain and bulky compare to Inspiron. Inspriron us targetted to normal users while Vostro is for business.

i would recommend you to customize Dell Vostro. Since you are using it for business/office work. Plus Dell's complete cover 3 years is a good warranty for you.

It is ready and available to be applied from some telco .. but the price is still way expensive compared to normal wifi connections. Thus i never encounter any providers for the N-wifi.

depends on ur preference on wat is SUper Cheap ? some hting 3k is super cheap, some think 1999 is super cheap while some think 5k is super cheap

Wan cheap then take ACER or COMPAQ!!!!!!! hehe Celeron or Turion sure cheap one ..

Go for Dell.. try customize ur prefered unit at www.dell.com.my then quote the price up. Call Dell customer service and ask them to change the Vista to XP and giv u a new quote of price.For a peace of mind, it is better to take 3years complete cover ..
