hi to all Macbook Pro users,

i m having trouble connecting my Macbook to a Router Modem. Can someone kindly Explain to me the Step-by-step methods to Connect to my Modem..

I have been trying connect to the internet using the Ethernet Function, but always PPPoE server not found! Blur blur aledi, Pls help!

If the router is actually operating as a router, then you don't need to use PPPoE on the Mac. Just a straight-up ethernet connection. Un-tick the "Connect using PPPoE" box in System Preferences -> Network -> Built-in Ethernet -> PPPoE.

For more detailed answers, please provide better information about your setup, like what brand and model of router/modem you are using.
