PENJENAMAAN semula saluran ntv7 dan perubahan kandungan program bagi 8TV antara pendekatan baharu Rangkaian Televisyen Media Prima (MPTN) sepanjang tahun ini.
Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MPTN, Johan Ishak berkata, penjenamaan baharu saluran ntv7 itu akan membabitkan siaran program yang lebih bersasar kepada penonton Melayu.
“Saluran berkenaan yang popular itu akan lebih menyiarkan program untuk penonton Melayu moden menerusi barisan kandungan baharu.
“Perubahan itu juga akan memberi kesan kepada saluran 8TV yang kini akan menyiarkan lebih banyak kandungan bahasa Cina,” katanya ketika Pembentangan Kandungan Baharu MPTN, petang tadi.
Johan berkata, bermula 5 Mac akan datang, saluran ntv7 akan memperkenalkan saluran hiburan Malaysia yang baharu dengan memenuhi selera penonton dengan selebriti terkemuka.
Bagi saluran nombor satu di Malaysia, TV3, beliau berkata, saluran berkenaan akan mengambil satu langkah ke hadapan dengan perkembangan teknologi menerusi program televisyen untuk mewujudkan peluang integrasi yang lebih baik.
RIP NTV7. I like that Indian newscaster Charles something. Good in BM and English. At one point the wheelchair anchorwomen Ras Adiba Radzi seem tad ridiculous but iconic enough to be in my memory.
Why every channel needs to be 80% malay content? TV1 is basically 99% malay content. TV2 suddenly has increase in indian content. TV3 non malay content consists of 2 movies a week. NTV has more chinese local content. 8TV also has local chinese content. TV9 is 99% malay content except on special days where they slot movies. And that is only 1% of the year. The chinese news in NTV7 are less propaganda than the others combined.
Seems like someone does not like people to still have hope with the media.
ntv7 with it's mono sound system, it's been few years their sound system went down, stereo-mono-stereo (keep repeating for few years). nobody care to fix it's sound system.
ntv7 to focus more on malay content for what? tak cukup lagi ke dengan saluran lain? bagi aku tak ada masalah pun dengan rancangan ntv7 sekarang. sebab nampak macam saluran yang berbilang bangsa. tak macam 8tv. semua nak dalam bahasa dia dan orang dia. cerita korea pun alih bahasa dia. dah la banyak kandungan import dari prc, taiwan. tak menggambarkan malaysian tu hidup dalam masyarakat berbilang kaum langsung.

Dah mass market kampung pekan semua majoriti Melayu, whaddaya expect? Lagipun Media Prima TV dah orang tak tengok jadi tak relevan cam RTM sejak zaman ASTRO cable dan sekarang ni streaming service.
Media Prima to media UMNGOK, korang raser? Ikut citarasa diorang la nak customised NTV7 jadi cenel jilat UMNO macam TV3 dan TV9.
NTV7 tu era Effendi Norwawi lagi bagus. Dibeli Media Prima, terus hilang arah.

Not really a big fan of Gaban and Flashman etc ....prefer anime growing up.
