Hi i saw the new hotlink RED plan currently im using hotlink FAST but when i tried upgrade it says unable to process my request and call 123 for help. Any idea what's wrong? Thank you.

I am also interested to know if the RED chat plan for whatsapp, does it include free audio/video chat on whatsapp?

it said that 5 friends numbers will be removed, does it mean that 5 friends call for free is not available in the new rate plan? or it is just removed and i can add it back later?

The problem comes out, will 8GB weekend free data also cancel too? If yes, then I think it is not worth...

RED social or RED chat is not really free as well.

You only get it when you subscribe to a data plan. If you subscribe to a weekly data plan then you get RED social/chat for 7 days. Else you don't get the RED social/chat plan.

In that case, I would rather pay RM15 for current social plan that last 30 days (1GB).

Somemore, they removed the free 2GB weekend data in the new plan?! and the free 1gb/hour/day ?! Thats a bad move hotlink!

just upgraded the plan and found out the monthly pass that i bought last 2 weeks now cannot carry forward to new plan!!!

Dude you never get to know about the TnC and u jump into the new plan?

Use hotlink app. It is under Internet -> others -> Hotdeals -> FB Valid for 30 days RM15.

Hey guys thanks for trying out and im sorry to hear about the bad news.

To me hotlink is like a company that will give you this half and take another half, or maybe worse. Everything sounds too good to be true.

Maybe for kaki insta can consider the plan but i use data mainly on other stuffs so better stick to the old plan.

So in other words the hotlink RED is just another normal unlimited social package and has nothing to do with hotlink FAST.

fast definitely better unless u really use social/chat that much. better get ur hotlink fast before they stop the plan.

dahla no more weekend data and happy hour, when I opened Instagram it consumes my normal data, what a joke maxis

spent an hour talking to their consumer service, then had to wait 3-5 working days for the issue to be resolved.

Just changed to hotlink red plan. Quite a good deal if you're heavy on social:
- can get free 10GB Facebook without buying any pass
- can get unlimited FB and Instagram (Stories damn heavy GB man) with the same price of my monthly RM60 pass

Dont need 5 Friendz since got unlimited calls hehe. A bit sad lah no more 999GB, cannot see the 1000GB amount on my app haha

Not worth it. And they have increased the price for the monthly pass from RM30 to RM35. I am trying to spend as little as possible as I mainly uses whatsapp and waze only. Sometimes a bit of browsing.

i'm on FAST, used to be with Maxis One Plan. i feel that MOP speed is way faster than Hotlink FAST, feels like kena throttle only when on FAST.

yes I have both the normal one and ec/em edition. nornal one doesn't show the free minutes. guess it's ec/em only perks now.

It seems using FB or IG doenst use quota even video or streaming BUT..

If you watch video on twitter it will use up data.

For FB it is impossible to run out of that free 10g data. I am on FB often with occasional videos too. Hardly eat up the quota.

Need to be ware of twitter specially when u want to watch video.

Normally, Hotlink replaces an old prepaid plan with a new one, so I think you won't be able to get to Hotlink Fast if Hotlink RED is now the latest and only prepaid plan being offered.

Suggest you PM a Hotlink staff to confirm this.

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes i doubt these telco providers are doing 100% sincere business, sadly none is. When they offer something, you will have to give up something. Not just hotlink but umobile also the same. Although umobile has unlimited youtube but its only valid from 2 to 10am. Who will stay up late just to watch videos? Even wake up early in the morning you might as well only enjoy that 2-3 hours free. Unless you download and watch later. But nothing is perfect we just have to watch as we use. It is only a matter of which competitor is willing to give more.

I can confirm on this as I just buy old hotlink fast sim. When I activated it it automatically become hotlink red plan. There goes my plan to mnp to hotlinks.

Yes i can watch video on FB but i think speed is capped.
I dont have scientific means in saying this but my android phone can show the speed of my download.

When i am on FB or IG, speed rarely exceeds 1mbps. But despite that i can still watch instastory or insta video without buffer.

Maxis/Hotlink never sincere. That what happen last year when they secretly offer plans that backfire the whole internet flaming them from facebook to twitter to even lowyat.

Then i think few weeks ago hotlink was offer 999gb for facebook then they mess up their system even you pay for facebook you cant hotspot to use facebook. I wonder have they fixed it. Now they come out some dumbest plan like this
