Hey guys,

Need some input. Planning on purchasing an accounting software for a non profit which i help with. I have played around with the trial versions of MYOB and SQL. Currently using Quickbooks, but in the long run i think its costly, as the other software is a one time purchase.

Anyone has any experience in this situation or used a software for a non profit org.

Thanks alot.

If you're an accountant, I'd suggest GNUCash.

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, i have tired this, and i find it a little troublesome. Maybe even a little too basic.

The other thing is, once we adopt to a system, its difficult to move to a newer one. So if we happen to outgrow some of the accounting software it might be troublesome.

The poplar accounting program sold in Malaysia like UBS, SQL, Mr Accounting, etc are subscription based. Annual maintenance fee keeps the support availability.
