Just finished reading Thinking, Fast and Slow. It's really a nice book.
I have a long book list, but still, I like to know what books you borrowed/read from National Library.
Please share.

I just finished reading The Tipping Point and The Black Swan: the impact of the highly improbable.
The former is really a fascinating work. Partly I believe is because the author is a great story teller. I think everyone can get something from the book. But I can't say for sure about the latter. |

Finished reading another 5 books borrowed from National Library.
Worth mentioning is Malcolm Gladwell's Blink: the power of thinking without thinking. This is a very popular book some 10 years ago but I think the book's view on intuition is rather obsolete now. Instead, you should just read Thinking Fast and Slow if you're interested in this topic. Another good read is Dan Ariely's Predictably irrational : the hidden forces that shape our decisions. If you like behavioral economics/psychology, you'll like this book. |

QUOTE(Barbossa @ May 25 2018, 11:45 PM) 1 month. Can renew 1 time. So total 2 months. Haven't been reading lately mainly due to my work. Also because the politics drama before and after GE. Wasted a lot of time in /kopitiam. Anyway, was thinking about delving back into my books as my project is coming to an end. |

QUOTE(Barbossa @ May 26 2018, 12:18 AM) Yeap. You can borrow up to 6 books. So don't need to keep visiting for borrowing and returning books. Not perfect but acceptable. Most classical or must-read studies can be found. Some are missing. Maybe they didn't replace the missing books. Still, you can still build a very long booklist from current collection. Not sure about fiction tho. |
