Hi

I just want to ask something bout RAM. Can i use RAM from MacBook (Core 2 Duo) in my iMac (Core Duo) ?

The MacBook RAM is one piece 512MB and currently my iMac is default 512MB DDR2. Is it safe to use laptop RAM with my desktop Mac?.

I've been advised to be very cautious when using Value RAM with the new Intel-based processors Mac.  Didn't quite pay attention as to why but there's been some forumers who's had no problems when using Value RAM.

And to answer ur question, Yes, u should be able to use the iMac RAM for your MB or vice versa because I been told it's the same (but cutekid oredi said that!)  biggrin.gif

Wow thank u tinkerbel and cutekid, i also heard about this before, but i just want to confirm. Because iMac also used some part of notebook component in order to stay compact in size, right?

Any proof before i buy?
