Hello. Just wanna ask for tips or advice.

I’m going for a tour and wanna take nice pics. The kind that blurry at the background as i see a lot of instafamous have tht kind of pic. But I don’t want to spend money buying a new dslr.

I already have a Nikon D60 since school which I rarely use.

So I’m planning to buy a 50mm lens and I did google, read & watch reviews on types of lenses.

The one that attracts me the most is Yong Nuo 50mm f/1.8 lens bcs it’s cheap and the image quality is actually nice. (I just wanna use it for the trip, not make business)

But my concern is will the auto focus works On my nikon D60? Are there possible problems that can happen when use this lens?

Tq

Get the nikon 50mm 1.8G. Can auto focus on D60.

A used one should costs about RM 450-500.

If possible, look for a used 35mm f/1.8 DX..probably about RM700? 50mm would be too limiting as a sole lens for a APS-C camera like the D60.

for tour/travel , 35mm or below DX lens is recommended. 50mm is too narrow field of view. Like the above forumer said, get 35mm 1.8.
