Yes. A cheap solution for macro shots, you may check on my gallery with a +4 Close Up. But...hehehe to be frank, there is no way to come close to the macro lens, you may check on Ahleong gallery on that. sweat.gif

there is a way brows.gif to get nicer "macro shots" if you don't have a macro lens without spending anything. i've tried with my 50mm and the result is in my thread smile.gif

Ok...Langkawi trip now...

sadly....it was raining everyday...no beach pic sad.gif.....

there are few was to take "macro" shots
first using a close up filter, they come in diff flavours +1, +2, +3, +4,.. +10
if u have a 50mm lens, u can invert the lens and it becomes a magnifier... although it works, but metering, etc hav to be set manually
u might wanna check out extension tubes by kenko. the lower ur lens mm, the better the magnification effect

my method of taking macro shots is by using my tele with a +4 filter and hitting it 200mm u can check out some samples i took on my thread.
