Hi all,

I used to try to watch channels in Unblock Tech 3 but frequent lag with Streamyx and I stopped using. Recently I got my Streamyx 4Mbps upgraded to Unifi 30Mbps. I changed the LAN cable on HYPP TV to my Unblock Tech 3 but it says no connection. I do not plan to use wifi because I prefer not to have my TV share connection with the internet to ensure smooth browsing all the time.

Please advise what are the setting I need to set in the TP Link router.

Also, I have not been able to watch few astro channels in Unblock Tech (eg. Quan Jia, Hua Hee and etc). It will keep loading at few kbps and will never successfully load. Please share if you are ok with these few channels or not?

Thank you.

Hi, your speed is suitable for UBOX to run on.
Which LAN Port from the Wi-Fi Router is connected to UBOX?
As LAN Port 4 is configured with VLAN and is only compatible to HYPPTV

All Android TV Box and Smart TV Box doesn't need additional settings.
Unlike Hypptv need additional settings only. Try to connect the LAN cable from LAN 1 to LAN 3.
If it doesn't work, reset your device, after reset still not working. If still under warranty, ask your dealer which you bought from for help.

Connect UBOX from LAN 1 to 3 only.
Not all Malaysia channels are able to load on 1 time payment TV Box.
Not all IPTV can load. Want stable? It is the best to use AXTRO Box.
Overseas channels besides Malaysia can load well. Like HK, Taiwan, and etc.

If you have used this UBOX for about 6 months or 12 months.
Then you can consider EVPAD. EVPAD Channels more stable than UBOX.
Nowadays more and more complaints about UBOX.

I will get this EVPAD as I research a lot about the comparison within EVPAD and UBOX.
A lot of buyers said that EVPAD is more stable and more function able than UBOX.
UBOX now Malaysia Channels down or even down forever.

Thanks.

Yes solved. Thank you very much. With LAN, those malaysia channels can load easily. Unlike wifi, few kbps then failed. Just that the Hua Hee Channel actual showing is unclear version of Shuang Xin Channel.

Ubox cs is not so good. Even the so called authorized seller when i asked him if he encounter such problem, he avoid my question and ask me to contact cs. CS does not really bother.

@TS please consider setting up your network to use google dns =)

if your router can setup QAS your tv won't really eat up all your network speed making your internet browsing be slow =)

With TS current downlink speed, I think it's not necessary to setup any QOS to control it. Because for p2p server each client already cap with a max downlink speed wont go higher than that. Correct me if I am wrong.

Don’t know how many devices TS has and how he wanna even out the load, so maybe QAS may help him even up speed well across the House was the idea.

Hi all tvbox gurus,

Don't mind I ask some stupid question here because I've been thinking to terminate my service with Astro because I feel like the monthly commitment is quite heavy and my parents only watch it at night (less than 3 hours), which they agree to look for an alternative too. The 'most watched channel' is HuaHeeDai -Ch333 (Taiwan Hokkien Drama) and only AEC - Ch301 (For news). I saw on your post saying that you could actually watch Astro Channels (eg. Quan Jia, hua hee dai, etc). Do you mind sharing your experience and some advise to me please....? :-D

Lan just plug n play ..no need setup..
if no connection try others port at the router..
make sure you enable Lan connection inside TV box setting
