Are you sure it's bitcoin mining and not online gambling?

- at irregular hours
- wooden partitions
- make lots of noise

Mining is 24 hours, don't need partitions, and does not make a lot of noise. The cards will generate of lot of heat, but not noise you can hear next door.

The person who wrote the article is missing a few things, and obviously has no clue what mining is.

near to my office got one shop lot doing mining + exchange center i think. Because lots of people coming in and out of it and they usually use air compressor machine to clean their hardware. If this is the kind of operation that is running at housing area off course the neighbors get peeved

if gpu mining, it alot more quieter because GPU fans are higher quality, more silent for normal consumers
if mining with antminers, it will be noisy af
