Hi, I'm a student at The One Academy and I've just failed a subject for the fourth time. I've been held back for four sems already because this subject is a prerequisite to another subj in the next sem. Has anyone ever failed more than four times? Is it still possible to retake the subject or are you immediately kicked out from the uni?

i think it depends on your university's policy. most of the time they will only give you a fine. either way please take your test more seriously this time.

Depends on your lecturers if they see that you have improved. If they all agree that you have no hope/ no potentail, you will be kicked out.

That remind me of me but with English. I failed 3rd time and the only subject that hold me back. Just like internaldisputes said, depend on university's policy. If they care about money, as long you can provide, they allow you to continue. If they care about prestige, I don't think they allow you continue after 2nd time failing.

I know this is not what you ask but let me tell you about my experience. I dropped out after 3rd time but thinking back I realize that I can avoid that situation. My advice is, you should actively seeking help from your friends and lecturers. Ask them what you don't understand, even it is sound stupid. Engage more with your lecture of your subject so they can see your effort to improve yourself. Make extra time time you have to understand your subject theorically and practically. I'm sure you can do it, even if you're not socially good with people.

check your student account, there must be a handbook. Read it. There must be a rule how many times is the max allowed time to retake a subject.
In my uni, art course, theres no max subjects take. BUT, you can only under probation 3 sems, else you kicked out. But after kicked out just pay i think RM2000 to get back on..

You should speak to your lecturer, i am sure he/ she can work it out with you. * ex-student here. Which subject is this?

wow.. fourth times, you made the one academy some good money too by retaking haha. Are you a lazy student or? mind to share more details.
