Im planning to build a Pc budget about rm6k. Will be coming back from sg this coming march. Just wondering, is the price difference very big? Warranty or send for repair not really my concern as i will frequently travel back and forth + i have another laptop

Funan Center* has demolished btw..

IMO, sg is slightly cheaper but most of the customizing shop in SG is operated by foreigner, which make me concern.

My bad.. wrong building..

Sorry, I thought Funan Centre.. Because normally customized pc dealers are there..

Price is cheaper due to short term currencies differences only.

I suggest buying from where your main income is. If your income is in SGD, buy in SGD. You lose some money after exchange rate.

But dollar to dollar, i'd say SG is cheaper than Malaysia, for easy comparison you can compare at

hardwarezone.com.my

vs

hardwarezone.com.sg

They have pricelist from most major outlets in both countries, do not that further discounts are still possible, but a good startpoint to check. SG has better consumer regulations, i suggest getting it in SG if you're concerned about warranties and such.

Price wise, hardware in Malaysia is cheaper than Singapore.

So, if you DIY your PC, buy the parts in Malaysia.

lol dont jump the gun, this is not kopitiam and nobody would wanna ask or know how.

Generally speaking, building PC, cheaper in malaysia. Laptops and other one off gadgets, cheaper in SG.
