Anyone in klang valley has used their car to advertise through vinyl stickers?
Found platforms like Moola, Wrapla, myBump, etc but not sure which one is good to start and earning extra $$.

Anyone with experience, can you kindly share your thoughts?

Thanks!! notworthy.gif

Moola..ur car still looks fine with those vinyl stickers

myBump and Wrapla, their designs not really presentable..make ur car look funny sweat.gif

the worst is myBump stick the whole rear windscreen, duh..no road safety sense. they care for advertising fee more than driver & road user safety

i will still go for moola.. icon_rolleyes.gif

So, you are still enrolled with Moola or used to do it?

For myBump, I thought they proclaim that the sticker can be see-through if from inside the car?

I recently finished Armani condo campaign with moola. Overall good experience. Expect lots of attention to your car. The wrap is good. It wont damage your car paint except repainted car. My car paint was damaged due to repaint using cheap paint by second hand car dealer. No minimum mileage but if u wanna achieve full incentive they offered, u need travel 1020km which I did for armani canpaign. I get paid rm 165 per month. If u hit target 1020km every month til end of canaign, u also entitled to get bonus money.

In the event where u do.not achieve the target, they will pay u accordingly. Meaning it will be prorated. But if one day u travel 30km, no issue on hitting target. Its easy money. Treat it as subsidy of petrol for u bt dont purposely go travel la

Both mybump and moola stickers thats on the windscreen will nt affect ur view when its dry. When its rain, u better becareful as water gets trap in the sticker hole making it hard to see.

No min mileage travel bt there will be a target. If u hit target, u will get full incentive for the month ranging from 150-200 depending on campaign. It cud be more. In d event u dont achieve the target, ur pay will be prorated. Target is 1020km

Once u choosen to advertise with moola, u cn go anywhere u want. Like Armani condo campaign I did with moola..targeted audience is anywhere near puchong but I actually travelled bk to ipoh and come bk. No issue there. They stil pay me as they dont know where u travel. This will be an advantage

Thanks for your great experience sharing! I already registered a Moola account but waiting for other campaigns other than the current Tune Protect. Is the campaigns quite frequent?

On average 2 campaign per month. Btw make sure your car not repainted as it might damage the paint. If original paint then no issue. My paint came off abit due to second hand dealer use cheap paint

Interesting, I drive 60km on weekday...
how they track your mileage? How many months of your campaign? After the campaign, do they help you to remove the sticker?

Every time u drive, u need on your gps signal + the app and click start tracking on the app. That is hw they track your mileage. My campaign was only 2 months.. supposed to b 3 months bt due to some problem, they shorten the campaign. Yes they help us to remove the sticker.

I recently cmpleted my canpaign with mybump. The campaign is reminding people to use their signal when changing lane. Duration is one month. Compensation is rm 100.

For mybump sticker, we need to stick on our rear windscreen ourself. And then post selfie on ur social media. But dont worry, their stick is easy to install.
Thry will either courier the sticker to u or u can meet their staff at ss15 subang jaya which I did.

One disadvantage of the stick is the sticker will block your view especially during rainy day.

Hi,

Have you selected the choice of ads you go for? I'm a low mileage driver, maybe go to work and go home or weekend shopping. Any idea which one the best for me? Thanks

I think the windscreen one only suitable for hatchback car like myvi, swift and etc. The design looks like laptop privacy film, if you look straight its clear but if you change the angle of vision it become blur. So, sedan car will have even more problem with the vision.

Can't speak for the other guys, but we do track your distance, and we pay you based on that mileage. We also ask for odometer readings at start/end to verify. If REAALLLY tak ngam then we find a middle ground between both

Hi all, just to update you guys. MyBump has a new campaign!

It's only a one-way vision campaign (meaning no car wrap. Just stick a sticker on your rear view window) so monthly pay is also less.. But consider it passive income for the next 6 months smile.gif

sorry to revive old thread tongue.gif i am interested to know..
1) roughly how much a mth we get paid from moola/mybump? assuming there is a constant flow of campaigns
2) anyone have problems with paint damage? i believe the quality of the stickers are better now.

I wonder do Polis or JPJ will block you from doing this or not?

Which company is better?
Moola or Rodeo?

I don't want to use myBump because the rear windscreen sticker looks obstructing the view

sorry to revive old thread tongue.gif i am interested to know..
1) roughly how much a mth we get paid from moola/mybump? assuming there is a constant flow of campaigns
2) anyone have problems with paint damage? i believe the quality of the stickers are better now.

Full disclosure, I work at MyBump, so I can't speak for Moola.

1) If you're lucky enough to be selected for multiple campaigns in a row, you can earn ~200 each month (depending on the campaign + how much of your car is wrapped). Recently we've ran topper campaigns too, where the drivers can earn even more.
2) If your car paint is original car paint (i.e never repainted before) then no problems (we'll touch up for you if got!). If not original, then we have no guarantee.

Thanks for voicing your concerns! Just gonna share a few pictures of what it looks like from inside vs outside:

Completely understand that this is an issue you're concerned with, just sharing so other people can see and judge themselves.
