Hi, im planning to go up GH walk-in interview for HR Executive (personnel service / industrial relations). What questions would they ask? Im fresh degree graduate in business administration. Will the chances be low? What salary would i be expected?

Alternatively, i would go for Guest Service Assistant. What are the main job duties actually? What is the salary for GSA now? So that i can do camparison.

HR Executive - office hour.
Have F&B signing facilities - Around RM1k every month. Salary RM2k+....forgot. I heard from my friend, a lot of work to do. She always unclaim OT.

GSA - Salary RM1.8k basic. Pay comes from incentive. Casino Marketing Line (Tipu orang datang Genting department)
- They have a lot of sub department - Membership Center, Membership Admin, Marketing Services, VIP Reservation, VIP Hosting, Marketing Services Admin, Planning, Genting Rewards Gallery etc. Usually the first department to be assign is in Membership Center.
Salary are mostly based on performance (Special Casino Payment).
Working hours varies from Department. Admin mostly office hour.

Is GSA vacancy opend at anytime since it is so demanding? The genting career website do not have this vacancy at the moment. Should I just walk-in and try to ask? Hohoho..it would be embarassing if they say they're not hiring GSA! :/
*
No problem. You can just walk in. But you have to look at the notice board at the interview venue.
If there is no vacancy on the notice board, you can try again next time @@

Anyway, GSA is quite demanding. It is consider one of the highest pay for entry level in Genting.
Resignation rate usually higher in the middle of the month.
Please note that Junior GSA and GSA is totally two different post.

I am currently working in Genting. But if you are talking about job besides from Casino, I would say it may be underpaid.

i read the previous post, but the food allowance is tempting.  biggrin.gif

Maybe, but the price for food is not cheap =D
1 meal could just cost you RM30 or more......

But working over there, you can save tons of $$

but there is a canteen for staffs right?
or only for casino staffs?
*
Canteens need to pay $$. Price are almost the same as what selling in KL. RM3 - RM5 for a bowl of mee.

Casino staff have a canteen as well. During working hours, they may be able to enjoy free meals.

ya, at least the price same as KL, not price in other restaurants in Genting right?
like you said, cost rm30 for one meal
*
That is for meal allowance price =D
What I'm actually saying is that, the meal allowance only can be used in certain places and the price is around RM30 per meal haha

I just complete my diploma course and looking for job now.

I study business admin and have no working experience. I heard work in GH very good, can save a lot of money because food and accommodation provided.

Somemore nice weather and can know a lot of people.  rclxms.gif

But I also heard politics there very bad and no life because nothing to do there and not many leaves can take  sad.gif ,boy girl relationship also very messy (good for boy, can f**k a lot of girls  thumbup.gif )

I not sure what job in GH suit me. Can help? Is there any admin jobs?  hmm.gif should I apply GSA?

Please tell me I making correct choice or not. Thanks!

If you plan to work in Msia, yes it's good to work in GH.
You would tend to save loads of money(depending on department), provided you don't always main main....go for beer, club, pub etc.
Politics depends on department i guess.

Girls? Saw lots of '"spanar'" over here.....haha
