My mum has rheumatoid arthritis so she has to consume painkillers in long term. I'm not exactly sure whats the long term impact for consuming painkillers but I know it's very bad. And she can't stop taking them because the pain will definitely kicks in if stop consuming it.

So I'm wondering if there is any food that can help to improve or help overall health of patient who need to consume painkiller for long term. Note that I'm not asking foods that fight pain or replace painkillers. I can find lots of food to replace painkillers but my mom is not the type that willing to try different kind of foods.

The list of foods are for pain relief - but it's not the list I'm asking for. I'm actually asking if there is any foods that can help to improve health of people who consume painkillers for long term, not replacing the painkiller

less inflammation = less pain = less need for painkiller
