I'm very sure a company like that wont just roll up n die. There will definitely be sum venture capitalists out there willing to invest $ n rebuild this nice lil company.

It's like those small lil handbuilt sportscar factories, surely got sum rich enthusiasts out tehre willing to invest in it.

If it's selling at that kind of price i will call it a steal, compare that to Lian Li or Silverstone then u will understand why

Soldam might sound alien 2 many but this is king of cases & their prices r really worth it or 2 b exact, cheap. Vry² happy such a reputable manufacturer on the brink of collapse finally has bn resurrected

Nope.
It's because Soldam is a very small company and all their casings are hand made.

So, reselling to the world would be a lil hard.
Give them some more time, then maybe soldam will be available to the whole world.

To those that complaints about their price.
You must understand something.

Soldam casings are "HANDMADE"

soldam is stil alive my all time dream casing...especialy their alcadia n altium x10 series...so nice....

was looking for reviews on that casing too but dont seem to be any, that casing the airflow is similar to LL S80...wonder how the ventilation is on the casing

God...This is the rolls royce of computer cases. The looks are simple, elegant. The built quality i bet must be good as they were hand made.

It's just brilliant. But really bad that it couldn't be found here.
Btw, anyone knows how is the airflow of their casings? Are they good?

It's not handmade ler. It's hand BUILT. Just like the high end Silverstone cases. The parts r made by machine, then built by hand.

For me, I'll be satisfied with an ANTEC P180 Black casing.

u could try translating the site using excite or something. but guaranteed the words are all kinda blur and hard to understand. but at least you can navigate.

The full side view, you can only see 5 fans but there are actually 6, with the extra fan located on the bottom left, yup, it is blocked by the divider.

Comparison with Thermaltake Armor, it is slight shorter but the same width, but quality of the built feel very grand...


My wife loves the casing, and she thinks the casing fit her taste... apparently there are only 10 units built for this model.... Now i am tempted to get another soldam casing, probably another mtx for my collection.. now got promotion, so it is slightly cheaper.

well, it's true indeed, RM1.5k (saw your post earlier)... damn, why is it so expensive la, thicker aluminium? how thick?

It's not just about the aluminum thickness but is the superior finishing quality that has no match .... shine without scratches ...

it also shines smoothly ... further more the airflow design is just superb..

in addition noise issue is being carefully with top notch ...

almost everything within the case is nicely done ...

the only down side is there's not much of exterior difference to be choose from ... only size and optional upgrade only ..

regarding the optinal/upgrade kit, i'm sure it same as Lian Li or Silverstone offered aight? like HDD cage? fans/system blower?

Currently eyeing on the ALTIUM FC500 MB BLACK KNIGHT

nope it is deep purple finish but looks like black piano.. it will take a while for them to send to my brother in law house, like 5 weeks or so. so u have to be patient. i cant do bulk, coz if i do bring, i bring one by one or two max.... i collect the casing but not sure about the hardware yet..

i think i let uncle ian ho to do the setup for me once every hardware are in order. the finishing of this product is top notch... so happy... the casing that i want to order in the future is called lazy, so it like cream colour with a touch of gold and interior is shiny red. something different.

depends on the model, can range from RM350 to RM850. I am looking at bring in the cheaper one since it is on sale at the moment. But do expect the delivery to address in Japan can take about 6 weeks. That is how long it takes to deliver to my brother in law house in Kobe.

uncle Ian, i got no hardware yet, so i cant give it to you yet, unless you just want me to show the casing lar... that can also, can meet up at mcdonald and do a showcase on the casing, exhibition sikit lar.. hehehehehe, a bit too much no...

right now, got no idea what hardware to put in yet.. so any advice will be good. pocket pun kering sikit, stuck in shares and dont want to realise the profit yet, being a bit tamak there... hehehe... also just complete my mini rig called Mahmud-mini-rig, name after my son. so the soldam rig will name after my wife i guess, since she is supporting enough and love the casing too.

doom, as far as i know, only VR-Zone has it. no retails from SLS shops. if you want to buy, go VR-Zone office, they have some stock left from the previous MO. btw, floppy is the administrator of VR-Zone. basically, Visionary, floppy, Shamino and some others are the men behind VR-Zone. So the stock is trust worthy.
