Suggest to test drive both. Buy what you are comfortable with.
If RV is one of your main criteria, don't get the Hybrid. |

QUOTE(amad108 @ Jan 12 2018, 01:51 PM) As what honda claimed.. both hybrid and petrol have similar maintenance cost.. but maybe battery is the only extra maintenance.. Battery already subsidized by Honda that lithium ion type is RM3000++ only instead of RM5513 while Nikel Cadmium regular one just RM2000++ |

QUOTE(homonculus @ Jan 17 2018, 05:25 PM) just get urself hybrid la..more power..can save petrol kaw kaw..even in their website cost of maintenance of hybrid is RM1.4k cheaper than non hybrid..that is based on their calculation la (up to 200k km service).. Honda already subsidized the battery has become cheaper now.https://www.honda.com.my/uploads/pdf/city/m...brid%202017.pdf https://www.honda.com.my/uploads/pdf/mainte...4YM-Current.pdf but you know u have to change the battery after 8 years (when battery warranty expires)..that will cost u RM5.5k.. not sure that if that price can match price of petrol that saved earlier..maybe nobody going to calculate that, yet. |

QUOTE(VK7 @ Apr 1 2018, 01:22 PM) Saw video from youtube. City hybrid can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 9.3 seconds. normal CVT petrol car pump monthly RM200 but hybrid maybe just need RM100. In long run, one year is saved for RM1200, 10 years u save RM12000. If this calculation used for 8 years for battery replacement, it saved u RM9600 still worth if u pay the battery for RM3k++ only.Almost 2 second faster than regular city 11 second century sprint, provided battery is fully charge. I will take city hybrid no doubt. Not all the time u speeding rite. So lack of power from not fully charged battery is not a concern. At least for me. My concern is not battery since we all know, can save fuel more than rm5500 battery replacement cost, but that new 7 speed gearbox. Since it is very new and not yet be proven it can be a worried things in the future. But that is what u get by involved with cutting edge technology. |

QUOTE(limahkau @ Jan 10 2018, 02:06 PM) Definitely is Hybrid then! As I believe buying a new car is because of buying its cutting edge technology. If your main purpose is to save fuel petrol with low consumption.Loan 9years gets back all the fuel saved as much as RM10k! Some more at this time raya promo and gst rebate for as much as total 10k is really worth it! This post has been edited by uncle08: Jun 10 2018, 02:20 AM |
