My old phone broke. I'm looking for a phone that: - has a long battery life - can run mobile games smoothly (high graphic, no graphic lag issues, etc) - overall fast performance + good RAM - support 4G LTE I'm still a student so I don't have money to buy expensive phone like the latest Samsung or Apple series. I don't want to ask my parents to waste money for me either. I hope someone here can recommend me some affordable phone with good qualities like Samsung / Apple. We all know that Samsung and Apple are only expensive because of their famous brands so I'm hoping I can find something cheaper but with similar functions. Please recommend me phones between RM600 - RM1000. Thanks a lot! (P/S: I tried to Google it but there are too many answers ) This post has been edited by 404xfound: Jan 10 2018, 11:01 AM

QUOTE(QWERTYUIOP12 @ Jan 10 2018, 11:24 AM) Go for Mi A1 . Android P guaranteed, monthly security updates, quick patches and bug-less (bugs keep at mininal). You are a student and its unlikely you will change your phone within 1-2 year like the rest of income-stable LYN forummer. Thus, I think the choice is obvious. If you pandai cari, you can get it at RM8++ for official MY set. If you can wait longer, maybe you can see a miracle. Some people managed to get it at RM6++ during the 3 consecutive large scale sales on Lazada last December 2017. Sounds really good. Thanks for telling me! I'll try to cari haha.

I compared it with Mi A1 they are almost the same, except Note 4 has much more battery life

QUOTE(QWERTYUIOP12 @ Jan 10 2018, 11:43 AM) Redmi Note 4 currently on android 7.0 and I doubt it will even receive android 8.0 Oreo. But thanks to MIUI, you will still receive some syatem updates but don't expect it to be quick. Battery also good but some users have reported decrease in SOT on current MIUI9 version its running. Is android 8 much better than 7? My old phone was only android 4 so I don't know anything about newer androids haha. So if you were me you'd choose Mi A1 over Note 4? I think I'd just listen to you
