Not sure if this issues is known/ or reported before. My internet is getting occasionally disconnected (The internet LED indicator becomes red )3-4 times every day, and the only way to reconnect back is switch off power and turn on.

Any idea how to fix this? update firmware?

Hardward ver: Archer C1200 v1.0
Firmware ver: 1.0.0 Build 20180403 rel.22124 (EU)

On top of what prokiller1199 mention, I think in order for wds to work your the other router must also be using broadcom wifi chipset.

Btw you can also use the 2.4ghz band to create a wds with the EU firmware.

Already done.

Flashed the time modem to eu firmware and use inspect element to evoke the hidden wds page. Linked the router with my main rputer via 2.4ghz wds. Somehow this c1200 cannot detect my 5ghz main router set using 802.11ac mode only.

Everything working fine now. Can get dhcp from main router. Just cannot wds using 5ghz unless i set my main to 802.11b/g/n/ac mode. Which i dont want cox i wan the main router to run full AC at 5ghz.

5ghz range is much shorter than 2.4ghz. Could be the reason your c1200 unable to detect the signal.

If you really want to use 5ghz wds, try checking your main router if there is a setting to enable beam forming or increase the transmission signal. What model is your main router?

Another last resort is use wifi analyser apk to scan for your 5ghz ssid at every part of your house and set up your c1200 at the location where the 5ghz ssid can be detected.

No. It is just c1200 is a sht router. I put both next to each other when configuring and yes my main router has beam forming. The c1200 is just not a true AC router.

-.- Did you set the main router 5ghz channel to 36 - 48?
C1200 cannot detect other 5ghz channels. EU region limitation.

Hi. You flashed the TIME Stock Router C1200 V1?

So far no problem after flashing the firmware?
Heard that EU Firmware got less channels for 5GHz?

I'm getting this router from TIME for free.

Thanks

Thanks for the info.

Is 5G able to connect to the main router via WDS?

The WDS Status can be activated in the settings?

Thanks.

I dunno. Fail for me cox i set main router to use AC mode only. However that main router 5ghz is on channel 112. Whereas the secondary router which is the c1200 is flashed to eu v1, and it support a few channel only. Maybe thats why the c1200 cannot detect 5ghz for wds.
