I reset the router as i couldn't access it to flash to openwrt, i have the EU time firmware with the wifi blazing_time however i the default logins dont work.

I tried:
admin/TIME
admin/admin
admin/TIMEWXYZ (where WXYZ is either last4 mac ID or last4 serial)
Different combinations of password for capital and not capital containing time and last 4 characters.
need help on accessing this

Ah finally got it.
admin
TIMExxxx (where xxxx is the last 4 characters of mac id). Entire password is capitalised and for some reason wasn't accepted until i tried it with ssh, and then it accepted in the web gui. Also the ssh does not have any limits unlike web gui so you can brute force away.

Hi all,

Is the TP-Link C1200 Archer V1 (EU) router reboot intermittently solved ? Is it related to firmware issue?
Is there updated firmware release later than mine ?(beta/stable)

I encountered this problem lately after 3-4 year in use.
Troubleshoot many times.
So far change power extension cord and replug in and still monitoring for any reboot

Provider: TIME
Firmware version: 1.0 Build 20180502 rel. 45702 (EU)

Error message from system log ytd night 10:57pm
[693]: <3> 288753 Config importing failed

I googled around the error message and get different feedback.
Some say power extension, some say TIME NTP setting but not really solve the issue.

Anyone can help me what the error message means ?

Thanks.

Just moved to new place and there's no unifi port here cry.gif have to subscribe those 4g home services that gives b618 modem and instead of throwing the crappy C1200 down the trash i repurposed it as access point/switches to solves the wifi dead spot and it seems to worked okay, at least if it decided to reboot my devices will roam to the slower b618 wifi tongue.gif

Hi. I have a single unit Deco M5 as well as an Archer C1200 V1 (I have flashed it to EU latest firmware). The Deco M5 is provided by my internet provider and the Wi-Fi signal is not very good.

I am planning to setup my Archer C1200 as my main router connecting to my modem, and use Deco M5 to extend my wifi range as the wireless bridge. Is there any way I can do this? I googled and found that M5 only can setup as router or wired access point but not WDS/Repeater.

If it is not doable then, alternatively, I can use my C1200 as the WDS instead but my M5 signal is not good enough and I think the C1200 signal broadcasted will be as best as what M5 can do only, which is not ideal.

Throw away c1200, and get another deco

Deco can work with each others within Deco brand

The deco M5 signal is pretty weak. I put the deco in my living room (100mbps) and the signal in my room right next to living room with door closed dropped to 16mbps.

The c1200 is an older router in my storage and I want to see how I can utilise it before spending extra.

No need the C1200 already, just connect the Juniper straight to modem.

Sorry but no experience with Juniper. Not sure if here got Juniper thread where you can ask but the basics will be the same, set vlan on the ethernet interface then set the pppoe client on the vlan.

Be aware that once you enable WDS on C1200, you can't plug in any cable to it's LAN port. Router will keep rebooting if you do that.
