too bad.. i cant connect to hypptv after flashed.. the unifi port also changed from lan4 to lan1.. is it something i can fix by myself?

But then again not everyone know how to sideload via hardware TTL method. Guess until someone can managed to hack the upgrade files then mostly people willing to test it.

Can you teach me how to have the wds bridging function?
I want to bridge tplink c1200 to my main router asus rt-ac66u

My c1200 v1 already flashed to EU firmware earlier this year and was using it for sometime with much less reboot.

Recently i got hold of an asus rt ac66u to be used as my main router on ground floor, so instead of putting the c1200 into the store room I thought might as well make use of it to provide better wifi signal on first floor using the wds function. I googled that both routers use broadcom chips so wds should work.

Should I use 2.4ghz or 5ghz for the wds?

Hi I have a TIME TPlink c1200. I want to try flashing to eu firmware . However I do not have “firmware option” under tools.  I m not sure why. Can anyone help?

i can't remember which firmware i updated, it's only stated 1.1.1 Build 20170706 rel.65715 (EU).

how long does a firmware update take? i tried a few firmware all like not moving the status. i'm using it for 5g_wds but even though it stated no internet, but i can use the wireless without issue.

should i update to the latest stable version or just stick to my old version?

where should i download it? can't remember where i download it previously.

Guys, I have a C1200 v1.0 with TIME connection. Every once in a while (sometimes once a few days, sometimes once a few hours), the router would seem to be unresponsive, WiFi and LAN will show to have no internet connection, and neither the wired PC or WiFi connected phone can access the router interface. It will only recover when the router is powered off and on. I have searched from Google, and some have suggested to disable 5Ghz WiFi, and some have suggested to disable ipv6. I have done both but it seems like these solutions are temporary, the issue will come back after a few days/weeks. The firmware is 1.0.0 Build 20180502 rel.45702 (EU).

Does anyone of you have this experience before? Any solution?

Flashed the time modem to eu firmware and use inspect element to evoke the hidden wds page. Linked the router with my main rputer via 2.4ghz wds. Somehow this c1200 cannot detect my 5ghz main router set using 802.11ac mode only.

Everything working fine now. Can get dhcp from main router. Just cannot wds using 5ghz unless i set my main to 802.11b/g/n/ac mode. Which i dont want cox i wan the main router to run full AC at 5ghz.

Got a guy here hosting beta firmware, later i tag him, haha u may also come ot to identify yourself, this is your credit. Is it stasio? I bought my c1200 as second hand from my fren after he upgraded to asus ac68u.

zhuoyang heck, haha u already posted in your 1st page. Flash the edit7 firmware 1st, the proceed to flash TM stock firmware, beware, all settings LOST except router config page password@192.168.0.1

Im initially on 20180103 eu beta firmware>>zhuoyang>>tm>>time latest firmware

I updated to the latest build,  20180502 for time broadband. Issue is, it keep connecting with new WAN ip address after every 10 to 15 mins. 
During the update, the firmware was stuck at 27% percent but after 15mins later, i manually restarted and reset the router. It is booted up and saw correct version stated below the page.

Would i say it is completely upgraded?
and Could this be the problem that is giving the reconnection of WAN?

Currently, i have set it On-Demand and hope for the best.

It is manually rebooting by itself now. Suggest you change to new better router or get a replacement from TIME.
