Kinda Newbie here.
Just wanna share out the pics i took, c & c are welcomed, so i can improved smile.gif

Gear:Canon S3 IS + Lens Adapter + Kenko 58mm UV Filter + DIY diffuser for built in flash.

nice angles and all.

only issue is

photo #1 - is that the best side of those oranges? smile.gif choose a nicer specimen.
photo #5 - background issue. those holes in the the leaf spoil the photo.

em~~ S3 IS not bad hor~~ color wise very satisfied hehe
the sun set ~ color very zheng ~~ just that it giv people feelings like not so accurate of position ~ hem gam ba teh gam ba teh

thanks ,yea s3 is is not that bad though its a good cam to, i see you are using Panasonic Fz7, not bad though my uncle has one , played with it cool.gif

how can u handle in low light to take very good "sunset" picture ? I'm using S3 IS too but only can take good picture when the light is enough

of course, i also use manual mode to take pic in low light. But i can not make it as smooth as your pic even in ISO 100 with tripod T_T

for the sunset photo's i used iso 800 , without tripod, using viewfinder.

erm i used a plastic cup which the flash can be diffused not so good though, im getting my slave flash soon brows.gif brows.gif

nothing wrong with the pictures, but can tighten up the composition by shooting the same subject with different angles.. spend time with them...

hmm, try to isolate a few flowers instead of frame the whole bunch.. the angles can be tighten up by using the rule of third if u're not giving a macro impression... try to up the exposure a bit more as it seems quite underexposed..

rule of third, i felt only his 3rd florwer picture didn't adhere to that.
its good having the sense of space, but i feel on top, all dark background no meaning..

hi there,
i like the angles of the shots but the close-ups are somewhat a lil soft...or maybe its just my eyes...
