Late last week, a member of our team tried to increase participation in our contest by posting an entry herself. She then made the mistake of announcing herself as the winner without realising there were other eligible entries.

This is unprofessional, and I am disappointed and sincerely sorry for our team’s mistake. I know this is a sensitive issue and we never meant to take away the prize opportunity from anyone.

We will employ stricter social media policies and training to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We will definitely take your feedback into account for our next contest and improve on our offerings.

I had tested Carousell myself yesterday and able to sell out my stuff over there very quickly. Thumb up to Carousell for that. The downside is on their buggy website, for just changing profile and password in my account it gives me continuously "login failed" and "unknown error 0" pop-up messages all the time.

After looking through the thread again, there are a total of 2 participants - we missed out earlier and saw only 1 participant! Im a carousell seller from 2015 and Ive always love the app
but this is not a good response. Posts been edited numerous times and capsulr suddenly selected as the ultimate winner when previously he was treated unfairly. imo, whats acceptable for me is you admit what happened n apologize instead of claiming things and suddenly glorify capsulr..i mean, i really dont buy the "overlooked' reason..
