Hi, I would like to change my smartphone.
Budget: RM 1.5k -2k
So far i am targeting Huawei p10(RM 1.6k)/p10 plus (RM 1.9k) after discount on 11street.my.
However there is news stated that p11 gonna out soon on end of February, so i not sure whether wanna to purchase it now or wait for p11 release and purchase p10 at that period of time as expecting p11 release will causing p10 price huge drop. Any experienced or professional in smartphone market can give suggestion?
Or is there any great smartphone worth to buy at this kind of range beside p10?

For that price range, you way want to consider phone with Snapdragon 835 SOC

1. Nokia 8
2. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
3. Xiaomi Mi6

If insist on p10, will p10 price big drop upon p11 launching? Estimate will reduce how much? I considering worth to wait or not. Anyone experienced can share?

Depend on the price and specs of P11. P11 price is likely to be in between the Honor View 10 and Mate 10 (around RM2.3K). I don't think they will be a big drop for P10. Maybe there will be some drop for P10 plus since it closer to P11 price.

Possible only RM2.3k? If not mistaken the launching price of P10 also around Rm2.5k already & Rm2.9k for P10 plus. Rumor news also stated that price around $700 and seems like Huawei keep increasing their devices prices.

My bad. Mate 10 retail price is RM2.7K. Should be near that i think.

But OnePlus 5t on market a lot original Import Set, Malaysia Set very expensive. over 2k budget already even apply coupon. No really confident on Import set, all the while using Malaysia Set only, will got differences?

Which one will you suggested in terms of performance of daily usage(Not hardcore gamer) & camera and worth to buy?

but for me, repair in 2 weeks compared to import for almost 2 months i choose local unit

How about after sales services? I think OnePlus still quite new in Malaysia right? Maybe less service center & hard to claim warranty.
And i found some user complain on the 2 pin plug too for import set. Overall import set will got issues on network or anything differences with malaysia set?
