Just wanna ask if anybody has the same problem as mine. After a while i will be unable to surf the net, but my downloads in bitcomet are still running, the only way i can surf again is to restart my pc, even resetting the modem also won't help. I had tried changing network cards and even modem, but the problem is still there, btw i am using Dlink DSL500T router+modem, i hope someone would help me on this, really annoying need to restart pc everytime i cannot online.

I'm using BitComet 0.86, when i open BT and download, i'll not able to surf the net. But i do not need to restart the computer, just close the BT then i can surf back the net.
Then, i change BC to the previous version, 0.70. Problem gone, can download and surf net in the same time....

You are not alone. I too have difficulty to access my router's web configuration page. When i tried to access the web configuration page, my internet connection will die off and i had no choice but to power off my modem for a period of time. I guess this is due to Vista's new TCP/IP stack. Well, i have no idea about it. But, why don't you take a connection evaluation test here to check whether your router/modem complies with the Vista's specified standards. Post the result of the evaluation test here if you can.

By the way, i am using D-Link DI-634M. How about you?
Is the router/AP's SSID broadcasting turned on? If not, try enabling SSID broadcast via the router/AP's web configuration page.
