Planning to get the Huawei Mate 10 Pro end of this month.

Currently using Samsung Note 5

Any thoughts on this phone or should I just take other brands?

Budget is around the device's MSRP but can get it cheaper from qoo10 though.

a lot suggest take mate 10 instead

both of them quite similar each other, only the screen.

mate 10 have 3.5mm audio jack, sd card slot, sharper lcd.

mate 10 pro don't have those, but using 18:9 oled, battery life is better due to using oled (I guest).

you can google them, mate 10 vs mate 10 pro

cheaper, if you duwan those free gift, some seller sell them as low as RM2.4k

You can refer at the main thread. Either way, it's a good phone. A bit of an underdog to be honest even here in Malaysia.

So how does EMUI feels day to day ?
How is it comparable to Samsung UX?

Mate 10 pro can last longer with the amoled screen. And the screen longer means more comfortable to hold. BTW the main reason I choose mate 10 pro over mate 10 is because of the screen! Now I can have amoled screen with good performance! Previously I use mate 8 where after 2 years still blazing fast!

I don't like iPhone even cheap I will avoid .

Main phone note 8 and 2nd phone m10p.

iPhone plans are not that cheap anymore. Their data calls are usually higher than normal plans.

It feel like the plan got help you save some cost from phone damage... but when i saw the price list on the celcom easy phone, the price for device protection is higher, like paying for the security fee. nod.gif

If you mean celcom easy phone, that one is for the new device purchaser. Those service is seem like value add to the buyer, give them a change to protect their phone. Because if the phone broke after the new phone just brought within 1 month, the user must heartbroken too.
