Hello, I'm looking for a good doctor for a consultation, a doc that is also a gastroenterologist would even be better, anywhere around KL. I've seen recommendations for Gleneagles but I also read it is very expensive.

I don't have a medical card and my insurance most likely won't cover anything.

Just looking for a consultation to start and get the advice from the doc, however, if I end up having to do some tests, would like to already be in the place that won't cost me thousands and thousands.

Perhaps you could check out Datuk Yunus Gul ( Prince Court Medical Centre). He is excellent. But I have to inform you that nowadays even a scope will run into $$
but better to be in good hands than guessing. I had mine done 2 years ago. I had insurance. The whole test and scope works cost about rm4000 plus.

the healthcare system in this country really needs improvement, like universal health insurance
