TLDR:
Bought a fake tee -> Paypal needs the item shipped back to seller to issue a refund -> Shipped using Poslaju Flexipack with tracking -> Tracking stopped updating after the item leaves Malaysia -> Waited for about 2 months -> Filled in PP1 form at post office to inquire -> No response/assistance from Post Malaysia at all
Full story:
Bought a fake branded t shirt from a seller from the U.S.A., opened a claim on Paypal. Paypal needs the counterfeit item shipped back to the seller on the buyer's expense before they can process/issue a refund, so naturally I chose the cheapest method of shipping internationally, which is the Flexipack service. Total cost was about RM33~ including the tracking+insurance.
Tracking number was working fine until the item left Malaysia on 30th November 2017. I waited for about 6-7 weeks before finally deciding to contact Post Malaysia. They then asked me to visit my nearest post office to fill in a PP1 form with all the details. I submitted the form to both the officer at the post office and the email address that Pos Malaysia has (care@pos.com.my). This was done in the last week of 2017, and until today (07-01-2018) I have yet to receive any response from them. About to make another call tomorrow, but I've decided to post this and ask for any form of advice that some of you may be able to give me.
And yes, I've tried keying in the tracking number on the USPS and Aftership website, but neither of those 2 gave me any information. USPS says the tracking number is invalid for this product for MALAYSIA, while Aftership only provides the same information as the Poslaju tracking tool.
I created an account just to seek for any form of help or suggestion from you guys. Please do help me out if you've seen or dealt with similar issues. This is seriously frustrating as I've lost both my cash and the item.
Any help is deeply and sincerely appreciated, thanks everyone.
