I would pick NH-U14S if casing can fit.

All the casings I have can fit. I would go NH-D15 if the motherboard is mounted horizontally. Super heavy heatsink is scary.

I have the NH-U14 with dual fan on my other box - its great but just wanted to experiment with the D12S with 2 fans (in/out) and true enough its better than the older stupid aigo liquid cooler. Even during xtu stress test temp was just about 72 deg

Sent an email to Noctua for the AM4 mounting kit for a ND-14 i bought in 2014 and they said the receipt i shared didnt have my name on it. I bought it at the shop hence why my name isnt on the receipt. Is it really hard to get a replacement?

Email and inform them you bought from shop so the shopper will issue a receipt without name to you.

The NF-S12A marks the third generation of Noctua's signature S12 series quiet case fans, which have received more than 250 awards and recommendations from the international press. Featuring a further refined blade design with Anti-Stall Knobs that works in tandem with the new AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame, the NF-S12A improves the airflow/noise efficiency of its renowned predecessor by up to 8%.

Actually GT1850 also did a good job, very silent, just itchy hand wanna try new thing. Will buy another 6 to replace all my GT1850 on 2x480mm rad if it is good.

The Noctua NF-S12A has a lot of flexibility. It offers an excellent balance between acoustics, performance and sturdiness. You are able to tweak the rpm therefore setting your own preference ratio for the sound reduction and fan speed. There is also an extensive Noctua accessory bundle for each of the three fan which gives the user a lot more flexibility than they already have.
