Hi, this is my first time shooting Bball. Playing the game and shooting it sure it a world of difference.

Shot bout 8:30pm to 10++ pm. Lighting wasn't that good, ISO pushed to 3200 shot at F2 most of the time. Only manage a handful of pictures, with the rest, blured sad.gif

Probably I would try to use the red beam from the flash to aid my auto focus without firing the flash.

Anyway, here are a few pics for C&C. Friendly match among the team, for a local district basketball community tournament.

30d...

very nice effort there, pretty sharp but i would prefer portrait shots over landscape. most of the shots are without the board or it chopped off. wider lens maybe? brows.gif

Canon EF135 F2 , my other wider option was the 17-40 or the 50mm, both could not focus as quick. Most shots was done @ F2, so its pretty blur and thin, if you see a full size picture.

If they continue to play like this, maybe a 50mm F1.4 maybe come into the picture....

For picture no2 it would have been great if you managed to follow the rule of thirds because the composition would have been nicer. Well just my 2cents smile.gif
