Hi,

I've rattling noise problem with my new myvi received 2 weeks ago. On my second drive, a persistent rattling noise comes from the driver side when the car is moving (in D or N gear). But don't hear any loud noise going over the bump. Finger crossed.

The rattling noise also appears when I shake hard at the driver seat when the car is stopped. I did the same at the front passenger seat but no rattling noise. Haven't check the passenger back seat. But the noise sounds comes from the front on the right side.

Can't tell whether it is from the front spring or door panel or somewhere else. I recorded the sound for you all to listen. I'm going to SC soon. Can pls share your opinion and experience. Appreciate it.

Edit: Forgot to mention the weird thing is that the rattling noise appears after abt 30minutes drive, guess it is trigger when the front part of the car gets heat up by the engine??. This I noticed twice already, will try again to confirm.

The rattling noise at the front (driver side) is due to some screw loose at the absorber. No more noise BUT now the car has 3 new noises; 2 noises at the back which sounds like initial problem and another noise sounds like "tong" when the car drives over the bumper..

Sigh! Sending it back to the SC and gonna talk to the person-in-charge of the SC to make sure the mechanics check thoroughly.
