HI,

i bought the new MyVI. i need to check with new owners of MyVI if you guys are facing with the same prob with the radio as me:

1. Radio volume increase and decrease by itself but the volume dial doesnt increase of decrease. Sometime is fades away and increase again.
2. While on idle mode, the volume increase by itself.

Do any of you have this issue?

I have been sending the car for check but the vendor said that

1. its the new method of radio. so all new myvi have this system
2. changes in the volume is not a problem but signal problem which i dont think so coz i have been listening to the same station since ages. 95.8 Flyfm.

Help me out guys. please if you guys are having the same issue please do let me know. lets try to settle this together

I would also like to ask for my case, I went to Perodua Service Centre this morning for my MyVi second service and after inspection, they suspect possible oil leakage under my vehicle.

They suspect the root cause of the leakage is due to broken
1. Drive Shaft Oil Seal
2. Drive Shaft Boot

They still couldn't 100% confirm on this, so they asked me to drive for a few weeks and get back to them to check. I actually noticed some oil drops under my vehicle few months ago but that just happened occasionally and I don't feel any issues when driving.

And then I asked them whether can these be repaired or must be replaced. They said those part must be replaced if found broken. So, may I ask if anyone knows the price range of the above items?

If the price to replace at Perodua Service Centre is to high, can I find a better alternative outside? If I do, will this void my warranty?
