CVT fiasco is most likely isolated case...very rarely comes up in owner discussion. It's just a matter of luck regardless of brand especially budget cars.But Proton/Perodua seems to have the same types of problem affecting the cars, namely plastic rattling, absorber "kruk kruk" noise and occasionally HU problem from what I saw recently from owners.
