I am renovating my first home and I am looking for ideas. I Google-d in both Malay & English and I realized something.

Most Malay beautiful houses I have visited/Google-d consists of
i) Ikea products
ii) Kaison products
iii) Hipster

Their house would be minimalist style or too crowded style.

Meanwhile makciks would go with darker color.

Also,I found that Chinese likes Industrial design(this one I'm not too sure)

Anything else?

u left another one which is spotlight, ssf
spotlight good for curtain,
ssf good for furniture (u could find some best deal over there)

Most if not all ikea products doesn't last too long

That's because most people buy Ikea's cheap stuff. They're higher range stuff is good and comes with good warranty, but the lower end stuff are what people always buy. You get what you pay for.

If you want to buy wooden big tables, better find other alternatives to IKEA since it has a limited choice and the current ones look flimsy. You can go to VIVA shopping mall which is now a haven for furniture and home decors.

I bought a big 240cm wooden dining table and pair it with a long bench and chairs from Ruma-Home https://ruma-home.com/

Went to their showroom once and I was impressed by their furniture and pricing is reasonable too. Been eyeing the big 240cm dining table and benches.

i've lived on my own house for 7 years now. still no sofa, and won't buy them. i'm much preferred sitting on the floor. what to do, rumah taman eventhough semi-d, the living room is not up to my standard. my kampung house, the living room alone is 1/2 the size of my taman house.
